Born in Warsaw, Poland, then a part of the Russian empire, she met and married another instructor, Pierre Curie.He studied chemistry and physics in the Sorbona, where one became the first woman in teaching in his classrooms. In the university he was united to another professor, Pierre Curie, with whom married.and she dead in 1934.
